Weekend

Good weekend. The LYW has a birthday today, and just as it should be, the world revolved around her this weekend. Hung with her peeps at the Brewers/Braves game on Friday (our only win of the series, however). Saturday night was a fancy-schmancy dinner out, and Sunday came to a screaching halt, as we had our Youth Ensemble auditions all damn day. But a good weekend nonetheless.

GameCOCKS/Car-o-why-na Band compadres James and Shannon are due in town for the L-Day weekend. They, among others, have heeded my advice, and will be coming to enjoy Milwaukee at the best time of the year! We intend to go to a sports bar on Thursday and give many a "Go COCKS!!!" to the locals as Satan..., I mean, SPURRIER, gives his SC debut. Hot time in the ol' town tonight. Yeee hawwww.

Yeah, I meant to ask how this conflict of emotions is going for you. I have a similar situation, but am dealing with it.

As I have admitted before, my complete allegiance has never REALLY been with my under-alma-mater. The Ol' Ball Coach thing just seals the deal. Go DAWGS!

Yeah... but when you say "we" won at the Brewers/Braves game, you do mean the Bravos, yes?

I know that my favorite memory of Corley is when we did "Hype Time" aka "Hine Time" before the USC game.

He stood in the middle of the pack and said "Today I am a Bulldog..." and without skipping a beat, he let out a shrill "GO DAWGS!" like I had never heard before. We knew at that point, we had saved another lost soul.

God Bless you...that and UGA.
