The writing on the wall

"It ain't about the talent, it ain't about the skill, It's all about that silly-stupid horse shit deal." - J.B.
And for me, the "deal" refers to those three extra letters after my name.
I am feeling compelled to look for different professional opportunities, and I am loathe to leave my current situation for anything less than a step up. With few nibbles coming back to me after initial inquiries (and even having looked in the U of F-ace of pure evil), it occurs to me that the old-school days of "...or equivalent experience" are truly gone.
Sorry to bitch and run, kids...

C'mon back.

It'll soon be consistently warm enough in Cheese Country to open the carport back up for a p-nut boilin' and some good ol' shuckun' and jivin'. I hope to be a better host in the near future.
Grass is green here, but still no leaves on trees. I haven't sweated outside since September (that can't be healthy).
However, 'Sconsin is starting to come to life:
1. The BUCKS?! are in the playoffs?
2. Brewers are back in town, and despite a recent 3-6 road trip, should be fun to watch this summer.
3. Favre is "playing" the Packers.
4. The festivals will start soon, right on the lip of our version of the beach: Lake Michigan.
5. An afternoon of tennis with the LYW is possible on just about any day of her Spring Break.
6. And less than 3 weeks of school to go.
7. Buffett in Atlanta countdown sits at 42 days.
Huh, maybe life is getting better here because I'm thinking about getting out of town (#6, 7 above)?

Y'all come by when ya can....
